All About our Adult Beginner Swimming Programme (A):

This programme is designed for beginner adult swimmers who:

  • have a basic knowledge of strokes;
  • have a low level of fitness;
  • feel comfortable in the water; and
  • want a structured programme constructed by professionals to make progress comfortably and consistently.

The structure of this programme is as follows:

  • 16 different sessions.
  • 8 weeks.
  • 2 sessions per week.
  • Average session mileage - 500 meters to 1000 meters.
  • Pool length - 25 meters (**Contact us to have the programme adapted to a 50-meter and a 25-yard pool).
  • Average session duration - 17 mins to 49 mins.
  • Rest Days - at least 1 rest day between sessions.
  • Drills and various swimming techniques.
  • Freestyle and backstroke will be the only strokes incorporated as these are the easiest to start with.

The equipment needed:

  1. Goggles
  2. Swimsuit
  3. Swim cap
  4. Swim-kick board
  5. Fins/Flippers
