All About our Adult Intermediate Swimming Programme (A):
This programme is designed for beginner adult swimmers who:
- have a basic knowledge of strokes;
- have a medium level of fitness;
- feel comfortable in the water; and
- want a structured programme constructed by professionals to make progress comfortably and consistently.
The structure of this programme is as follows:
- 16 different sessions.
- 8 weeks.
- 2 sessions per week.
- Average session mileage - 800 meters to 1500 meters.
- Pool length - 25 meters (**Contact us to have the programme adapted to a 50-meter and a 25-yard pool).
- Average session duration - 20 mins to 62 mins.
- Rest days - at least 1 rest day between sessions.
- Drills and various swimming techniques.
- Freestyle and backstroke will be the only strokes incorporated as these are the easiest to start with.
The equipment needed:
- Goggles
- Swimsuit
- Swim cap
- Swim-kick board
- Fins/Flippers
